    I bought this belly band over 5 years ago. I’ve used it daily on the job. I’m an ironworker so my clothing gets beat up pretty good but has kept my gun safe and secure. Gun is a Khar pm9 and I don’t use the Velcro strap. I don’t carry mags in the belly band. I have other methods for those. After five years it still works well but is showing wear in some stitching. I’m proactively replacing it just in case. I would think I can get a couple more years of use out of my original unit but for the price, why not keep it fresh.

The material is much less heinous than the Desantis belly band but an undershirt is still preferable while wearing this one. All in all, a great product for a great price

    Awesome rig you made here. It’s comfortable, secure and effective, so long as it’s worn around the waist and not the hips as it was designed for (and yes guys, those are two different areas with two different measurements).

    The only change I’d like to see is the option to use my Kahr 380 with an Armalaser mounted. The holster shape for the Crimson Trace is a close fit, but not exact.

    I have had mine for many years for use with my Taurus Mil. Pro 140 and use it daily. Very confrotable and excellent concealment especially with tucked-in dress and causal shirts. I have a right hand draw model but now I wear it on the left for crossdraw. I wear my cell phone on the left belt position that further conceals any indication of concealed carry. Recommended for social or business situations where maximum concealment is necessary.

    Received it [a Defender] today, tried it with shorts only, no top. I really believe this type of holster is ideal… Even one of our local Police officers in a gun shop couldn’t believe I was armed when I informed him. I’ve lived here for 17 years and know most of the police officers. I asked [the] officer if he stopped someone dressed as I was, if he would be cautious or believe the person was armed? He was very surprised when I lowered the top of my shorts to show him I was carrying a Colt Government Model .380 and an extra magazine. You have a very good carry item for the honest CCW citizen.

    Finally a holster I can use! I have NEVER been able to get used to the ones that clip on your belt – they always felt uncomfortable. I tried this holster with my Smith & Wesson MP Shield as well as a Kel-Tec and they were both really comfortable. I like the fact that it has a velcro strip so you don’t have to worry about the weapon falling out. And the space for the extra magazine is excellent. This did the job that other more expensive holsters could not do.

    This is a great product. I have two Self-Defense guns, a S&W Bodyguard 38 special revolver and a Ruger SR9c. Both of these fit perfectly in this holster. What I like most about this product is it puts the weight on your body, not on your clothing. I have worn this holster with sweat pants and a tee shirt and neither of my guns prints AT ALL. One complaint I have heard about this type of holster is that it is difficult to re-holster your weapon. I feel if it was necessary to draw your weapon, the least of your immediate concerns is going to be re-holstering. Job well done.

    I carry a Colt .45 US 1911 80 series and a S&W .357. Both of these sidearms are heavy and bulky. I have hip, shoulder, and SOB holsters. In each case, the weight and size of these guns present a problem of comfort and concealability. With your holster I find that it is quite comfortable to carry either. With the grip just above my belt-line covered only by a shirt or vest I feel assured of concealment. I also find that by simply pushing the grip down below the belt, these large pistols are hardly noticeable even without a top-cover. Very convenient, living as I do in Florida.

    I have gone through many holsters, and I keep going back to the Defender. I carry my Kahr PM9 as routinely as I wear shoes, and it is so comfortable that I sometimes reach back behind my hip to make sure it is there. The concealment is far superior to anything else I have tried, as it holds the gun close to my body and flat. Drawing is the same as any inside the waistband holster, with a shirt hanging over or tucked in. I don’t know why I kept trying other holsters.
    I’m not in the habit of writing vendors to comment on their product, but I was so impressed with my new Defender holster I felt obligated. My carry gun of choice is a Glock 19 but finding a concealed holster that was comfortable and unobtrusive was proving difficult. With summer coming, I was looking for something I could wear with shorts and a t-shirt. Fortunately, I stumbled across your website. I admit that I read the testimonials from your other customers with a very large grain of salt, but with your no-questions-asked return policy, figured I had little to lose.

    Waited about a month to write this review. I’ve been putting this holster through the paces and wearing it 7 days a week 18 hours a day. It carried a large 1911 with ease and comfort with hardly a notice at times that I even had it on me. I did order an additional thumb break strap to keep firearm secure and also to gain easier access while wearing around the waistline (as suggested by Seller). I love this rig!
